Advising a foreign client on the acquisition of assets, including real estate and manufacturing equipment, in Belarus. The transaction was financed by the investor’s own funds as well as those of a foreign bank. GLIMSTEDT was responsible for all the aspects of this cross-border transaction, covering the due diligence of the seller, the structuring of the deal and the optimisation of taxation, and the drafting of all the documents related to the deal including letters of intent, contracts and security documents. The scheme of transaction is unique as the buyer actually acquires a property complex as a business from the seller. The total value of the deal is USD 8 million;
